Real Estate Program


Come and learn everything you need to know to be a professional in Real Estate. This program consists of 2 courses, Real Estate License Preparation,  and Property Management with a possible extension to include  Digital Photography  which would be very helpful in marketing your business and properties.

Cost:  7100 ₪ and  350 ₪ Nonrefundable Registration Fee.

Extended Photography track:  11500 ₪ and  350 ₪ Nonrefundable Registration Fee.

Academic Hours: 160 (272 with Digital Photography)

Payment by Cash, Check or Credit Card. All fees must be paid up to one week before the course starts. If paying by Credit Card, tuition may be paid in installments of no less than 250 /mo for a maximum of 10 months.  If paying by check, checks must be paid in advance and can be postdated until the course completion date. Cash – tuition must be paid in full before the course begins. Real Estate License Preparation

Course Description:

The comprehensive course for Real Estate Agents  Leading to Licensing Exam of the Ministry of Justice. This course is designed with 2 major objectives:

1. To give the student the tools and abilities to become a marketing agent and professional real estate expert.

2. To prepare the students to the exam of the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry of Justice is asking all real estate agents to pass an exam that includes comprehensive knowledge of Israeli laws that are related to real estate, as a condition to receiving a Real Estate Agent License.

The course will review the key terminologies and structure of the law book that is used during the exam ensuring students can overcome the language barrier. Sample exams are reviewed and practiced.

Please note: In order to receive your license you must pass a Hebrew multiple choice exam given by the Ministry of Justice. You may bring an English translation of the laws (which we provide,) with you to the exam.  In the event that one fails and one is an oleh/a chadash/a within 4 years, then you may be eligible for an oral exam geared for English speakers.



Property Management

Starts: February 26, 2012

Day & Time: Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Length: 16 weeks ; meeting once a week

Academic Hours: 80

Cost: 3950 + 200 Nonrefundable Registration Fee.

This course is an introductory overview to principles of property management and covers the basics of residential and commercial property management, investments, leases, and renovations.   The course is designed for real estate brokers to add property management principles to their skill sets and for other real estate professionals such as attorneys and developers who wish to expand their client services.

Digital Photography

Course Description

An intensive Digital Photography course for beginners and advanced photographers. Subjects to be covered include an extensive understanding of the technical aspect of the Camera and Lens, Artificial and Natural Lighting, Composition and Visual Perception, Introduction to Event &Portrait studio Photography.

Lander English Photography Course
The course will run for 28 weekly meetings and the following subjects will be studied:
History of Photography and its impact on photography in the 21st century. Fundamentals of Photography:
• The Camera – its parts and workings. The Lens – its parts and workings
• The Shutter and the Diaphragm, Focusing, Light Metering, and Depth of Field.
• Exposure compensation, metering modes and photography modes –
Automatic, semi-automatic, Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority and Manual modes.
• Composition, visual and artistic tools in the making a photograph. Learning how to see and visual perception
• Flash and Studio Lighting. Portrait photography.
• Movement.
• Abstract and Colour in Photography. Introduction to Event Photography
• Workshops on location –Nachlaot, Botanical Gardens’ Machane Yehuda market, Jerusalem Architecture, Downtown Jerusalem, Old City, Jerusalem at Night.

Workshop sessions will be followed by a class critique of the student’s work.
Workshop locations will be confirmed before each meeting.

Study visits to Photography exhibition, and Professional Studio Photographer.
