Landers Women’s Learning Initiative – Elul Semester. Come Learn with us once a week and enhance your preparation for Yamim Noraim

Dedicate 1 day a week to learning

Join women from all over Yerushalayim and surrounding areas who have chosen to enhance their lives by joining this learning initiative.

The shiurim will take place on Wednesdays September 7-21, 2011, from 9:15-1:30 at Machon Lander Rechov Am VeOlamo 3, in Givat Shaul.

The only cost is a one time 75₪ registration fee for the entire program!!

1.Rabbi Elan Adler:

Topic:  Soloveitchik and Steinsaltz on Teshuva

Two giants of Torah, revered for their intellect and public personas, look at the private and intimate process of Teshuva, its obstacles, and how to overcome them. How can even meticulously observant Jews become Baalei Teshuva?

Come be insiried and enhance your spirtuality by learning unique Chassidic into the Yamim Noarim.

3.Dr. Chana Tannenbaum

Time: 12:00-1:15

Topic:  The Barren Women of Tanach

The barren women in Nach are sometimes famous, sometimes nameless or anonymous. Why is it important that we know of their infertility issues? Through an in depth analysis of three of these women we will  try to uncover the secret message of these stories. A special emphasis we be on their relevance to our lives today.
