Topic: Survey of Neviim Rishonim
The fall semester meets for ten sessions so we will study the ten books in Neviim Rishonim. Each week we will do an overview of each sefer and then analyze, in depth one story or chapter from each book. The goal of this semester will be to familiarize learners with the overarching theme of each book, its relationship to the other books, and identify at least one major lesson within the book.

An in-depth analysis of some key topics in Mitzvot Bein Adam Lechavero, using detailed mekorot and developing the halachic and hashkafic framework of these mitzvot in Chazal, Rishonim, Shulchan Aruch, Acharonim and contemporary Poskim.

Topic: The Rambam and the Ramban: 5 disputes on Contemporary Issues of Hashkafah
The course will focus on 5 theological disagreements between 2 of the greatest rabbis and Jewish thinkers of all time, medieval luminaries whose words are studied carefully to this day. topics will include: The Mitzvah of Believing in G-d, The Mitzvah of Prayer, The Origin of Idolatry, The Sin of Moshe, On Searching for the Reasons of Mitzvot.

Topic: Understanding miracles in the Aggadah
‘If you wish to know He Who bid it and created the world, study the Aggadah.’ We will examine various aggadic texts in the Talmud using the commentaries of Maharal, Maharsha and others. We will focus on the miraculous elements: Must they be taken at face value? What is their ultimate message?
